Children’s Special Easter Choir
We are planning a children’s choir for Easter. There will be two rehearsals: April 2 and 9, 10:05-10:45 a.m. following the 9 a.m. service. Forgiveness, A Lenten Study
Rev. Catherine will be leading this in-person study (if permitted), with a tentative start date of March 9th running for 6 weeks.
Forgiving others and humbly asking for forgiveness are central disciplines for all Christian believers.
Cultures In Conflict – Zoom Study Session
Please register by December 31st by calling the church office (905-728-8251) or emailing office@christchurchoshawa.ca. This is a 5 week ZOOM study session, with study guide, starts Wednesday January 26 to February 23, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
Live Nativity
Join us on Saturday December 4th from 1pm to 2pm for a free family event presented with live animals and music. Dress for this outdoor event.
Advent Bible Study – Prepare Ye
Rev. Catherine Desloges, our Honorary Assistant will lead this program at the church in the lounge, starting Wednesday December 1st for 4 weeks. Ponder, pray, praise and proclaim each week as we prepare for the birth of Jesus.
Christmas Bazaar – November 6th, 9am to 3pm
Indoor: Limit 10 shoppers at a time. Required: masks, social distancing & Contact info. Crafts, Sewing, Knitting/Crochet, treasures, Jewellery, Bake sale, Plants & Silent Auction Outdoor: safe distancing, mask if need.
Sock Donations
Outreach is asking for sock donations for those in need as the weather gets colder. Please drop off your sock donation at the church. Thank you!
Another’s Treasure Thrift Shop

Outreach Plant Sale – Saturday May 15th
Notice to all parish members who are gardeners. The Outreach Committee will be holding a perennial plant sale on Saturday May 15th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm to raise funds for ongoing community outreach projects.
Sock Drive
The Outreach committee will be holding a sock collection in the month of May. Donations of men’s, women’s and children’s socks can be dropped off at the church Thrift Shop during opening hours or placed in the donation bin just inside the gate.
